In life, ill-fitting t-shirts are the only things that are one-size-fits-all. For everything else it is important to find the right fit for you individually or as a couple. Fertility treatments are no exception. At CRM we offer a wide range of diagnostic and treatment options for women, men, and couples of all makeups.

How is the team at CRM dedicated to patient care at every level of the process?

An Accurate Diagnosis Is the Foundation to Achieving Your Goals

We must determine why you are struggling to conceive before we turn the focus to the treatment option that best fits your situation. The initial infertility evaluation is the best place to start. Your initial evaluation can be completed in one menstrual cycle. We will use blood tests and ultrasound to determine your ovulatory status and egg quality, and assess your reproductive anatomy with an X-ray called a hysterosalpingogram (HSG). Your male partner will be evaluated via semen analysis, which can sometimes take two rounds.

Superovulation and Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

Some couples are able to conceive, but their chances are so low that they require a bit of help. Superovulation and intrauterine insemination (IUI) involves stimulating the ovaries to make more than one egg per cycle and exposing those eggs to more sperm at the optimal window of time. This is beyond what is possible with intercourse alone in a spontaneous menstrual cycle.

Depending on a couple’s unique situation and the medications used, the chance of conception per month can be doubled or tripled using these techniques. For couples who are unsuccessful using IUI, in vitro fertilization (IVF) is often the next step on their fertility journey.
